"Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord." - Jeremiah 17:7. This isn't just a simple little tea towel with a cute scripture -- it's a reminder of who sustains us.
We may face many challenges in this life, but when we trust in the Lord, we are truly blessed. If we look at the rest of verse 7 and the verses following, we see why:
"But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit." - Jeremiah 17:7-8.
Though our circumstances and the world around us may be in a time of "drought," we are blessed because our life source isn't of this world -- our life source is the living water we have because of our salvation through Jesus Christ! It is my hope that every time you see this piece of artwork in your home, you are reminded of Who you belong to!
